History of Wedding Cake Toppers

Before we move onto the other parts of cake toppers and wedding cake toppers, first it is important to know the past of cake toppers---the history of wedding cake toppers. Unluckily it's really hard to figure out as when exactly wedding cake toppers entered the slew of wedding customs, all we know is that the use of wedding cake toppers is an ancient tradition followed in wedding ceremonies. The exact details of their origin are wrapped in mystery. Of course, there's no debate or doubt about the importance of the wedding cake topper.

After searching the whole internet, I got a beautiful story about its origin, you might already hear of it, but why not enjoy it again?  Once upon a time, a baker's daughter was getting married. The girl wanted her father to create a symbol of the unflinching love between her and the groom, for the world to see.

Spend several days thinking for many ideas and carefully deliberating over each one of them, a great solution came out of the father mind- a lovely wedding cake with two amazing figurines on top of it. The figurines that the cake top featured were obviously the reflection of his daughter and her groom-to-be. The baker had conceived the cake topper as the perfect symbol of their love and bonding.

The daughter was shocked by the sight of the cake made with love and affection by her father on the wedding day. She was indeed touched by the beautiful gift and the sentiments behind it and she thought it was the best gift, among the most unique wedding favors, she could have received. The cake, hosting the figurines, was prominently placed at the venue of the wedding.

This tale might just be a tale, yet it shows the significance and importance of the wedding cake toppers in wedding ceremonies.  So when you know the history and beautiful story of wedding cake toppers, suppose you were the baker, do you have any special idea of the symbol of the unflinching love between your daughter and son-in-law?
