Felt Cake Toppers for Festival

Do you get any similar problem that after whole day searching but still can’t find some special item for Chanukah? Tired of  boring looking dessert and want to try something new? Need an idea for a stunning party buffet? These felt cake toppers can help. Any cake or even a platter of fruit can be easily decor into something truly special. Trust me, my job is making any delicious but normal looking cake into something fabulous for any occasion! Skewers and height are two of the key factors in pulling this off, and for Chanukah it's all about felt and sequins!

And just imagine, if you make some of the felt decorations, like the bunting banners or the rosebud bouquets, then your cake decor can pull together your whole look! I don't think you need instructions for this one, just release your imagination and start your bud by gluing it to the skewer, and the other shapes are simply two dreidels back to back with a skewer in the middle. And if you're really smart (like I wasn't when I made and photographed these) don't glue the skewer to the felt, that way you can insert a new skewer each time you'd like to use these.

And if you want to keep cake or platter simple and don’t want any decor, so these cake toppers can be made as fun table decor, too! Oh, and one more thing, look at this tiny rosebud cake topper, I never saw anything that tiny and cute in my life, but I had all these felt scraps hanging around and a fired up glue gun......

Have fun, and don't forget, just release your imagination, your cake toppers would be wonderful in your hands.
